Let's Rodeo

Welcome to the Thunderbird Pro Rodeo. I am Serenity Jenson and as Miss Thunderbird Pro Rodeo Queen am very proud to introduce you to the hard working people who are part of the Thunderbird Pro Rodeo in support of Corey's Day on the Farm for Special Needs Children and the Northwest Burn Foundation. I am excited to help raise awareness and money to support our 2 beneficiaries.
I have been an active volunteer at Corey's Day on the Farm for the past 8 years along with my horse, Gus O'Mally. We would like to encourage you to donate to help these children experience the chance to ride a horse and show affection and excitement toward different types of animals. Gus and I have had a great time as part of the team of Thunderbird Cowgirls doing equestrian drills, awareness appearances and fundraising. If your group or business is interested in knowing more, would like a demonstration by our equestrian drill team or help raise funds for our beneficiaries, please be sure to contact the Thunderbird Pro Rodeo to make arrangements. I have been in the 4H Equine project at the Kitsap Country Fair and the Western Washington State Fair, NW Junior Rodeo and Washington High School Rodeo.
I currently attend Klahowya Secondary School as a senior holding a KSS Academic Award for the past 6 years, a member of National Honor Society, captain of KSS swim
team and a teen mentor among other achievements including 3.8 GPA.
I have always enjoyed the support and help of my family while they have been active: my father as a volunteer in the Central Kitsap Fire District and "Giving Burns the Boot" for the Northwest Burn Foundation and a hard worker as a construction foreman supporting our family and my rodeo activities financially while my mother volunteers in education at the schools and is an active supporter of all my activities in school, sports and horse/rodeo. The Northwest Burn Foundation helps burn victims and their families with financial support for medical and living arrangements. If your group or business is interested knowing more or helping to raise funds for our beneficiaries please contact the Thunderbird Pro Rodeo to make arrangements.
I plan to attend college, seeking a degree as a Radiology/Medical Imaging Technician while part of a college rodeo team and later to go onto Professional Rodeo.
As Miss Thunderbird Pro Rodeo Queen, I am very happy to be part of the American sport of rodeo and introduce everyone to the people and skills for rodeo, especially the Thunderbird Pro Rodeo, Corey's Day on the Farm and the Northwest Burn Foundation. If you would like to be more involved by donating or volunteering, please contact us by e-mail: info@thunderbirdrodeo.com.
Remember to attend the Thunderbird Pro Rodeo June 27th and 28th in the Thunderbird Stadium at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. I look forward to meeting all of you.

It's Beautiful !!
My name is Sadie White from Kingston, WA and I am your Little Miss Thunderbird. I am 7 Years old and love to ride my horse, she is a Buckskin Quarter Horse named Smokey. I have been doing Jr Rodeo for almost 3 years now and love every minute of it. I do cal stake, dummy roping, and Goat un-decorating, but I love to practice barrels. I also love to wear cowgirl clothes and talk to people and other kids about animals. I am proud to represent the Thunderbird Rodeo because of what it has done for me the past couple years attending Corey Days on the Farm for Special Needs Kids. I was born hearing impaired and appreciate what Corey Days on the Farm has done for me. Thank you Corey Days for helping me believe in my self and helping me reach my dreams, I haven’t let my disability get in the way. I am looking
forward to this year and starting a new adventure as a Pee Wee in Jr Rodeo and doing new events like Barrels, goat tying, poles bending and much more. No matter what is given to you in life you can always reach for your dreams.
